Anderson Family Pics

The whole Anderson Family...for now!

The Rosas' Christmas - Part 1

This year we headed to Utah for Christmas to spend it with Grandpa & Grandma Anderson. We headed out the 22nd with the hopes that the 12+ inches of snow we had received the night before wouldn't affect our drive. Ayla was definitely riding in style while watching movies the whole way there.

We stayed at Great Grandma Anderson's since there wasn't going to be enough room for all of us at my parent's house. Great Grandma Anderson has gotten sweeter and sweeter with age! She is truly an inspiration on how to have such a great outlook and attitude towards life.

Christmas Eve Grandpa Anderson hooked some sleds up to the 4wheelers and we took the kids on rides around the field behind their house. Ayla didn't let the weeds and snow slapping her in the face stop her from having any fun!

Aunt Rachel, Eli, Ahrian and Grandpa

What a beautiful day! Too bad they didn't have the snow we had here in Colorado.

Christmas Eve we reacted the Manger scene with the grandkids. It was absolutely HILARIOUS! Great Grandma even had a "donkey" for Mary (played by Ayla) and Joseph (played by Bennett).

Eli was the baby Jesus

Ahrian was the Angel (truly fitting for his personality, he is my angel everyday)

After the excitement was over we let the little guys duke it out sumo style. As you can see Ahrian had the upper hand and gave Eli a smack to the face.

Since we had so many presents from Grandpa and Grandma to open on Christmas day we decided to give the kids the presents from their parents the on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Day was FULL of presents. Everyone was thoroughly spoiled! It was so awesome having all my siblings, their spouses and the grandkids together for Christmas. The house was full to the brim with all the chaos, but what a great day!

Ayla and her cousin Abram

A sister in our ward is an amazing seamstress. The catch is that she does all her work as charity or for free. I asked her when Ayla was born if she could make a blessing dress out of my wedding dress and sure enough she did. Kathryn commented a couple of years ago that she would like to have a blessing dress made out of her prom dress. For Christmas our gift to Kathryn was a beautiful (words truly can't describe this amazing dress) blessing dress. Needless to say she was very happy.

The day after Christmas the Anderson family had a reunion at the church. It was so good to see everyone and catch up with Aunts, Uncles and cousins that we very seldom get to see anymore.

Grandpa and Grandma Anderson spoiled the kids rotten and let them do things that we would never have dreamed of doing growing up, but it was all very much appreciated. The grandkids had a blast playing with eachother.

Before we headed back to Colorado we took a trip as a family to temple square. We are so grateful to be a part of such an amazing and loving family! We sure have a lot of fun when we are together.

Being Blessed by a Boy!

So, can you guess why I'm all wet? While giving my little man pre-shower hugs he decided to give me a little shower.

How does that little boy hold that much pee?!

And, my favorite thing about babies!!! Their little bums!

My Christmas Presents

It's December 1st already and that means a Happy 1/2 Birthday to my little man! They are truly the best presents that I have not only at Christmas, but everyday (cheesy, I know, but they are the reason I get up every morning and the light of my life)!

We love you peanut!

November 2011

Enjoying snack time!

Ayla with her babies! I guess she thought her brother wanted to hold hers...

This guy is quite the kicker. I was giving Ayla a bath and left him for just a few minutes and came back to him almost out of his seat. I guess those strap restraints are good for something, oops!

He's gonna escape one way or another!

Our little cheeser!

For Thanksgiving we had went straight for the Mexican dishes. My request was Tortas de Tamale, Gerson's was Milanesas and another was Sopes. Ayla LOVED it all and ate more than most of the adults.

Milton just started working Mon-Thurs 10-9. It's been a little hard on Ayla to only see him for a little bit in the morning. She's used to us both tucking her in bed at night. He made up for any lost time and helped her decorate her own Christmas tree!

October 2011

Our little peanut is 4 months old!!!

Gosh, look at that cute boy!

October was a happening month. Ayla graduated from the crib and straight to a full size bed. Uncle Brandon made her some foam wedges to put on the edges so she couldn't roll out in the middle of the night and they have worked like a charm...if only they could keep her in there. The transition went rather smoothly! Now, onto potty training soon!

She was so ready to go to bed, wish it could have been that way every night since then.

Ayla has a very cool cousin and they have so much fun together! We usually have play dates every other week alternating between each house. Xander has a hill in his backyard where they rode the big wheels down.

Once Ayla got to the bottom Xander would pull both big wheels to the top again.

Enjoying one of the last warm days.

Can't believe that I'm 27! Here we are getting ready for my birthday lunch at Red Robin.

I've never been so excited for Halloween. We went trick or treating 4 different times!

Ayla in the jump castle at the ward Halloween party.

Ayla loved cleaning out the pumpkin

Aunt McKelle is now living with us until the end of March while Ben is in training for the Air Force. We are so glad to have her here! The help has been needed and so has the company!

Showing off the pumpkins!

We went trick or treating at the mall and they had these adorable balloons that would skid across the ground as she pulled it. I couldn't resist buying her one and of course she picked out the ugliest one of the bunch!
