It's Potty Time!

As soon as life slowed down from the holidays I knew it was time to potty train Ayla. I went in very nervous and am so glad that it's over with! The first day was quite rough. I put her straight into panties and set a timer every 20-30 minutes to remind her to go to the potty. We had only 1 success the first day and 6 accidents!

However, come the second day she had 12 successes! She did have 2 partial accidents, but ended up finishing in the potty. Each time she went potty she got a sticker and a piece of candy. If she went poop then she got a double sticker and some helado (ice cream). I must say the rewards worked out great and she's been a champ ever since. It is so nice just having one baby in diapers!

The Rosas' Christmas - Part 2

As soon as we got back from Utah we headed over to Elton's because Milton's parents were here to visit. Of course, we had round 3 of opening presents and once again the kids were very well loved!

Does the baby in the photo look familiar? It's Milton's dad when he was a baby. Ahrian is truly his little twin! Especially with those adorable chubby cheeks and double chin.

We went to the Spanish ward's New Year's party, which has become a tradition. Ayla was a dancing queen and seriously wouldn't leave the dance floor the entire time.

For New Year's we had a yummy dinner about 9 and then hung out as a family. Of course, there were more presents for the kids to unwrap. They can never say they weren't loved!
